Accessibility

We have designed this website to make it accessible to as many users as possible. The design of the website has been independently reviewed for usability and accessibility.

Where possible, we have taken steps to adhere to level AA of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.1).

Adopted a sans serif font for comfortable reading
Used larger text throughout. The main body text is 18px on desktop and 16px on mobile
Removed text all in upper case or in italics
Used black text on green and orange backgrounds to meet the recommendations for colour contrast
Increased the size of the social media icons and links
In most cases we have used left aligned text
Ensured buttons are clearly visible and stand out against the background
Reduced the amount of white space to make navigation easier where possible

Our website is responsive and will automatically adapt to the screen size of the device being used i.e. desktop, laptop, tablet or smartphone.
